Where

Ten Space is based in the UK and works with organisations wherever their people are. We have run surveys with employees in around 20 countries, including Canada, France, Malaysia, the Netherlands, Poland, Singapore, South Africa, Spain, Tanzania, the UK and the USA. Clients have run single, combined surveys in as many as eight languages, covering nine different countries.

What it does

Hear from every employee. Engagement surveys, pulse surveys, custom surveys and Journeys, which follow people through key moments in their employment, such as onboarding, a return to work and leaving. Invitations and reminders go out automatically. People who have already answered aren't chased.

Act on what you hear. However people answer, their answers arrive in one place. AI analysts specific to your sector, configured for your organisation, summarise every survey, team and question, and suggest prioritised actions you can accept, assign or ignore. The decisions stay with you. Then action planning gives each action an owner and a due date. Reminders go out automatically, and progress is tracked for you. Each action stays linked to the result it came from.

Grow your people. Goals and objectives, 360 feedback, appraisals and one-to-ones, in the same platform as your surveys. The actions and goals that come out of survey feedback can feed into each person's goals, one-to-ones and reviews.

Your values, your questions, your rules. Use our engagement model, or measure against your own company values. Start from hundreds of ready-made questions, or write your own. Every part of Ten Space can be included or left out.

How people take part

By email, WhatsApp, SMS, QR code or even paper, with surveys in over 100 languages.

  • WhatsApp and SMS: the whole survey happens inside the chat, one question at a time. Not all languages are available with WhatsApp.
  • QR code or link: people scan the code or follow the link to take part.
  • Paper: we share paper forms for you to print. Scanned forms are read automatically.
  • Video: transcribed automatically, for people who would rather talk than type.
  • Email and the web, on any phone, tablet or computer.

Results and reporting

However people answer, their answers arrive in one place. Every survey can be split by any segmentation item. Paper, open-link and QR-code surveys are pre-tagged with as many segmentation options as you need. You can even ask segmentation questions in the survey itself.

We help you understand your results, and how to find and share the insight you need. We work with you to build custom dashboards and reports for you and your leaders. Dashboards export as PDFs, and results download as CSV files.

Who sees what

Everyone sees what their role allows, and only that. You set the restrictions. For IT teams, this is role-based access control.

With the ethics filter enabled (our most common setup), results are only shown for groups of six or more. Each survey can instead be fully anonymous (certain features such as automated reminders and segmentation may not be available), or identified, so authorised users can see which individual answered. 360 feedback and appraisals are confidential, and released when you're ready. Our Employee Promise tells the people who answer what happens to their answers.

Data, security and AI

  • Hosted in London. AI processing stays within the UK and EU.
  • Your data is not used to train third-party AI models. Our AI policy is the full statement.
  • Cyber Essentials certified, and independently penetration tested at least once a year.
  • GDPR compliant, and meets the EU AI Act.
  • Secured by design, with single sign-on.
  • Our DPA, sub-processor list and certificates are provided on request during the sales process.
